Marlyn Gitomer has more than seven years of environmental health and safety consulting experience. Marlyn holds a bachelor’s of arts in Classical Languages and English Literature from the College of Saint Benedict. She is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Ergonomics Assessment Specialist I and Transportation Worker Identification Credential holder. Her training includes 40-Hour OSHA Hazardous Waste Worker/Emergency Response and 30-Hour OSHA General Industry.
Marlyn has provided support in litigation involving toxic tort, premises liability, chemical release, occupational safety and health, and product liability actions. She has conducted field investigations including air sampling, noise dosimetry and moisture assessments. She has reviewed Health and Safety Plans, revised written safety programs, performed office ergonomics assessments and is a former presenter of safety training topics for a major university in Chicago. As a native Spanish speaker and multilinguist, Marlyn takes special interest in bridging communication gaps in the workplace.
