AIHA Connect: PDC Creating an Exposure Assessment System Built on Qualitative and Quantitative Approaches (Saturday, May 17: 8am-5pm)

RHP Risk Management’s Frank Pagone, PhD, CIH  is scheduled to instruct PDC 106: Creating an Exposure Assessment System Built on Qualitative and Quantitative Approaches at 2025 AIHA Connect along with Kent Candee, MS, CIH, CSP, Miriam Koesterich, CIH, CSP, and Dr. William Bullock, CIH, CSP.

The PDC will have hands-on demonstrations and practicum, practice exercises and workshops, and will provide attendees with a thorough method for establishing an exposure assessment system. Participants will understand how to perform exposure assessments effectively.

Topics covered will include:

  • components of an exposure assessment system;
  • determining allowable limits;
  • basic data gathering;
  • similar exposure groups;
  • exposure evaluation using algorithms and banding;
  • semi-quantitative evaluation;
  • sampling approaches;
  • exposure decision;
  • exposure profiles;
  • alignment of sampling results to evaluation scheme; and
  • reassessment approaches.
