Allison Persing, MS, CIH, CSP
Ms. Allison Persing is a Managing Health Scientist at RHP Risk Management. She has over seven years of environmental health and safety research, education, and consulting experience. Ms. Persing received her B.S.E. from The University of Iowa College of Engineering and her M.S. in Occupational and Environmental Health – Industrial Hygiene from The University of Iowa College of Public Health, both of which were ABET accredited programs. Ms. Persing currently holds the Registered Specialist: Exposure Decision Analysis certification from the American Industrial Hygiene Association, her designation as a Certified Industrial Hygienist, and as a Certified Safety Professional.
Ms. Persing performs a variety of Industrial Hygiene services such as IAQ assessments, noise dosimetry, and respirator fit testing. She is skilled in the use of time-integrated and direct-read sampling equipment. Ms. Persing is also experienced with research of historic, present, and emerging environmental health and safety subjects and concepts. She has consulted on various air contaminants including sulfur dioxide, anhydrous ammonia, silica, asbestos, ethylene oxide, peracetic acid, VOCs, and hydrogen peroxide. In addition, she is experienced in data collection, synthesis, and analysis.
