RHP’s licensed inspectors have extensive experience in providing solutions to simple and complex questions and concerns surrounding the presence of asbestos containing materials within industrial sites and properties. Our methodology may include sample collection of building materials, air monitoring and sampling of workers or individuals, and Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Program development or auditing.
RHP’s inspectors routinely conduct industrial facility inspections and understand the complexities associated with various building types and usage, and potential hazards and worker exposures found within different industries. RHP works with clients to determine the scope, objectives and motivation for each project with a consideration of local, state and federal regulations. Unless desired otherwise, our methodology includes the analysis of samples at RHP’s NVLAP-accredited laboratory, located in Elk Grove Village, Illinois.
Air sampling involves the capture of particulates either during an asbestos abatement project, before (background) or after (clearance) the project is completed by an asbestos abatement contractor. Ambient air sampling is conducted in a space recently impacted by a localized material disturbance. All air samples are collected and analyzed by RHP’s staff of Air Sampling Professionals (ASPs) who are recognized in AIHA’s Asbestos Analysts Registry (AAR) program.
RHP’s professionals provide training and consulting services on the execution of and management of O&M programs for industrial facilities of all types. Training is conducted in person or through RHP’s online training platform.
