RHP panelist: Frank Pagone, PhD, CIH

The discussion will examine how PFAS concerns are expanding beyond traditional drinking water pathways and how emerging science, testing approaches, and regulatory activity may affect exposure evaluation, environmental claims, litigation, and insurance decisions.

The session will consider a range of potential PFAS exposure pathways, including air emissions, wastewater, biosolids, agricultural uses, consumer products, pesticides, and direct contact. The panel will also address the role of evolving analytical methods and the challenges presented by multi-pathway and multi-source exposure scenarios. By bringing together specialists from different disciplines, the discussion will help attendees better understand how scientific evidence and regulatory developments can inform claims assessment, causation analysis, coverage considerations, and risk-management strategies.
