RHP Risk Management’s coronavirus (COVID-19) page provides resources for workers, employers, and the general public about the evolving spread of the coronavirus. The virus has been named “SARS-CoV-2” and the disease it causes has been named “coronavirus disease 2019” (COVID-19).

The materials below include links and PDFs to interim guidance and practical resources for home, work, and community. Click to view additional resources from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), and from the Occupational Safety and Health Organization (OSHA).

The best way to prevent illness to the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is avoidance. The SARS-CoV-2 virus transmits mainly from person to person, both through respiratory droplets in close contact and via airborne particles. Mitigation guidance focuses on close-contact, fomite, and aerosol transmission by stressing the need for increased physical distancing, wearing face coverings, implementing an increase of cleaning procedures focused on surface decontamination, and improving ventilation effectiveness and controls. In addition, by practicing good personal hygiene, food handling, and limiting travel and crowds, one can decrease the spread of the virus.

RHP also offers COVID-19 related services, including: Returning to Work: Pandemic Infectious Disease Plans and School Reopenings: Indoor Air Quality
