Lead in Water Testing Experts

DCFS and IDPH Compliance

Protect your students from lead in their drinking water.

The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) Policy Guide 2017.13 describes new requirements for lead in water testing that are effective immediately for all day care homes, group day care homes, and day care centers that serve children ages birth to six years, if the building is constructed on or before January 1, 2000.

At RHP Risk Management Inc., we have licensed Lead Risk Assessors that can help your day care, group day care, or day care center comply with the required actions mandated by DCFS and IDPH.

We’re the experts on Lead in Water

Lead contamination in drinking water is a serious human health problem facing society today! Lead is a toxic metal that can be harmful to our health at low exposure levels. RHP’s health scientists work with school districts, property management firms, and homeowners to identify lead in water hazards, develop complex water sampling protocols and offer solutions to effectively remediate the problem. We understand the need to protect the health and well-being of kids in schools, day cares, and other facilities and RHP’s goal is to provide relevant data necessary to comply with regulatory standards and protect public health.
